The CRC Wish List is a meaningful way to give back by directly supporting projects and items that enhance the CRC experience for everyone. Whether you're interested in upgrading equipment, improving facilities, or funding special initiatives, you can choose exactly where your donation goes - and there’s no need to fund an entire item to make a difference. All donations are tax-deductible.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our 2025 donors from the CRC Committee on behalf of the camp community and the Appalachian Mountain Club. We are deeply grateful for your generosity, whether through monetary or material donations. Your support helps ensure that Cold River Camp remains a place of adventure, learning, and community - both for those enjoying it today and for generations to come. This year’s Wish List includes:

Highest Priority Items

  • Canvas Wood Carriers for Wood Transport to Cabins

  • Heavy Duty Large Plastic Totes for Merchandise Storage

  • Kitchen Utensils (especially knives & carafes)

  • Medical Grade Blood Pressure Cuff, Stethoscope, Pulse Oximeter, and Auto Blood Pressure Cuff

  • Solar Lights for Guest Use (currently using “Luci Lanterns”)

  • Screen for Rec Hall Presentations

Next in Priority Items

  • Electric Riding Lawn Mower (thanks to generous donations, we’ve saved approximately 25% toward an electric riding mower. Depending on the model we select, we still need additional donations to reach our goal. Any contribution - big or small -will help us get there!)

  • First Aid Cabinet for the Office to Store Medical Supplies

  • Games and books for the Lodge Children’s Library (age-appropriate and sturdy enough for frequent use. Suggested items include Magna-Tiles, building blocks, and similar durable play materials.)

  • Metal Trashcans and Metal Buckets for Wood Ash Removal

  • Pillows & Blankets

  • Portable Fans

  • Sandbox Toys and Replacement Sand for the Sandbox

  • Small Hand Tools (PVC Cutters, Clamps, Hose Clamps etc.)

Please contact Emmy Holt, CRC Manager (either while you are at camp, or via email at eholt@outdoors.org ) if you want to purchase an item from the list outright and donate it.  If you would like a tax receipt for the in-kind donation, please let Emmy or the management team know. 

The AMC Development Office processes all monetary donations. Please make checks payable to the Appalachian Mountain Club and be sure to specify in the memo section that your gift is intended for Cold River Camp Wish List. Checks can be mailed to:
